Refund Policy
We aim to be fair and transparent about refunds. Please review the terms below.

1. Overview
This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which Smart Edge Technologies provides refunds for services and subscriptions purchased through smartedgedigital.com or under a signed engagement.
2. Project-Based Services
For project-based engagements (e.g., one-time development, design, or marketing projects):
- Initial deposits are non-refundable once project discovery work has commenced.
- If we have not begun work, you may request a full refund of any deposit within seven (7) days of payment.
- If a project is cancelled mid-engagement, you will be billed only for work completed up to the cancellation date, and any unused balance from prepaid milestones will be refunded.
3. Monthly Retainers and Subscriptions
- Monthly retainers can be cancelled at any time with thirty (30) days' notice.
- Fees for the current billing month are non-refundable, but you will not be billed for subsequent months once the cancellation takes effect.
4. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be approved at our discretion in cases where:
- Services were not delivered as agreed in the written proposal and we are unable to resolve the issue.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges occurred.
- You cancelled before any work or onboarding began.
5. Non-Refundable Items
- Third-party costs paid on your behalf (e.g., domain names, hosting fees, ad spend, software licenses).
- Custom work that has already been delivered and accepted.
- Discounted or promotional engagements, unless otherwise stated in writing.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email sales@smartedgedigital.com with your invoice number, the date of payment, and a description of your concern. We respond to all refund requests within five (5) business days.
7. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within ten (10) business days to the original payment method. The time it takes for the refund to appear on your statement depends on your bank or payment provider.
8. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
